Who are we?
We are a family-friendly, Bible-based fellowship that is welcoming to all, whatever a person's age or background. Our services are open to all, and feature a mix of old and new hymns, and straightforward preaching from the Word of God. Children are catered for during the service with their own Sunday School taking place during the sermon.
Congleton Baptist Church understands the importance of vibrant youth ministries. Along with the numerous activities and special events, we have regular meetings which aim to meet the spiritual needs of our local youth. Each week, during school term, the Sunday Club meets at Bromley Farm Community Centre, Congleton, from 3 - 4 pm. This one hour meeting is packed with Bible stories, fun songs, games, quizzes and refreshments.
We also run a week-long Holiday Bible Club in August, and various events such as the Pine-car derby, Bike Rodeo, and activities for teens.
As a church, we believe in the importance of missions, and provide regular support to several projects.
New Hope Residential Centre is an addicts' treatment centre, based in Dublin as part of the Reformers Unanimous group. It is headed up by Layton Kelly and family.
Daniel Hulley and family are based in Papua New Guinea, and are involved in church ministry, education, and bible translation.
The Slavic Gospel Association works in partnership with local churches across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, helping them to address the challenges of building the Church of Jesus Christ in former communist lands. We support a SGA mission in Bulgaria run by Pastor Delcho Atanasov.
